Act in the fashion show

We have a show called GCA fashion show.I'm the model of this show.

In our art class. We have a project about the fashion show. Our group design a wind coat, and they choose me to be the model.

The fashion is coming,every model have a lot of meetings to talk about how to walk on "T" stage. We start the show at 6:30pm. I feel very nervous when I am in the backstage and do some practices. I see a lot of people wearing beautiful and handsome clothes. They are teachers and my classmates. They all look pretty good. We line up in the backstage and walk around the "T" stage. We need to do three kinds of poses, then go back to the backstage.

When I am walking on the stage. I can see a lot of bright lights and the flash lamps. They make my eyes can't see the things clearly.

From this performance I learn how to take the responsibility of group and how to work with others together.

Religious Service(Buddhism)

During the spring festival. My father and I went to BaoHua mountain to burn incense and pary.
We went east for 30km from Nanjing.There was a temple called"Long Chang"in JuRong country.
I choose Buddhism religion because I believe if we burn joss sticks in the beginning of the year,the Buddha will bless and protect us for the whole year.(The spring festival is the Chinese new year).So I bought the joss sticks from the Buddhist monk in the Long Chang temple.
I held the burning joss sticks and bowed to the Buddha.I also kowtowed to each statue of the Buddha.We need to kowtow and put some money in the box in front of the Buddha to show how pious we are.
I think it is necessary for us to put money in it.Because if we give the money to temple,the temple will be prosperous and become bigger and bigger.These money are also used in maintaining the statue of the Buddha.So the Buddha can bless and protect us.I feel very relaxed and comfortable during the pray in Long Chang temple.I can feel how sacred the temple is!
We believe Buddha just like people from west believe God.I think although there are many differences between our culture and theirs,the heart we believe the divinities is the same.

A handwriting exhibition

I went to a handwriting exhibition last Saturday.The author of this exhibition is a student from Nanjing foreign language school.I can't remember her name because her name is very difficult to read.

I saw a lot of handwriting work during the time in exhibition.The best one I saw is the huge handwriting in front of the gate.The author used the very thick Chinese brush to write it.You can feel a very strong power through your body.I was shocked by this handwriting work.I didn't take the photo with it.Because it is so huge that I can't catch all of it in my photo.

I also saw some small handwriting work.They are very beautiful and powerful.But it is so small that if you do not stand very near, you can't see it clearly.There are also some kinds of old Chinese words.I can't understand what she writes.I just know it is very meaningful.The handwriting behind me is two medium one.She writes two poems that I am like it very much.

There are many good handwriting work in this exhibition.I can't introduce them one by one.In short,it is really are good exhibition about Chinese handwriting.

Club Activities

I don't know how to begin with the club in GCA.Because there are too many things coming into my mind,just like seeing the movie.
I like the clubs in GCA, because they are very funny and interesting.I like the chess club and the football club as well as the game bar club!These clubs give me a place to make friends and get pleasure in my hobbies.I really need to say thanks to these clubs.
I learn a lot of things from clubs,not only how to have good communication with other people,but also know how to set up a club.As the leader of the game bar club,I know setting up a club is a very difficult thing.In the beginning,we don't know how to set up it,so we use a lot of our spare time to ask to teacher.We put our whole effort in it.At that time we have no time to play. Every noon we are very busy.We don't have place for activity and also our support teacher.In the beginning,there are not many people to join in our club,and we don't have many kinds of game to play.But now,we have a new recreational machine called 'Wii'.Four people can play it together.There are more people to join in our club,nearly 20 people.We take our classroom for our activity place.It is clean and large.We also invite our art teacher to be our support teacher.She comes and plays "Wii" with us every friday afternoon.She said she was really enjoy this time in our club!My friend and me solve these problem.My friends give me so much support that I don't know how to pay back.For example,he gives me a lot of suggestions, such as inviting our art teacher to join us,because she has the same hobby with us. If I don't have these friends,I can't do it as well as now!
When I recall these things,I feel very proud and thankful.It teaches me a lot.These things are so valuable,you can't learn it in the class.
I also join in the football and chess club.I like football.It is very interesting.When I play it,I can forget all unhappy things.Football is a kind of sport which can help us being healthy.I like chess just as football,but the activity time of chess club is in noon,and we don't have many time in noon,so I'm not very often to play it.
These are all the club I joined in.They really teach me a lot!

Volunteer Works

I did three kinds of volunteer woks during my holiday.The woking places were in Ping an animal hospital,Wu Tia Garden and our school's basketball championship.

I think the volunteer work in our school's basketball championship is the most interesting experience. I had been the consignee to sell the T-shirt.I just sold two T-shirts,but I saw the whole championship.It was very interesting and exciting.There was a funny thing during my volunteer period , Mr.Sexby asked us to have an adventure.In the beginning ,I thought it would be a big adventure.However,to my surprise, the adventure was to help Mr.Sexby to buy breakfast.We bought the breakfast in MacDonald and also bought something for ourselves.

Then I did volunteer work in Ping an animal hospital at February 2th.I fed the animals and cleaned the floor and windows.The volunteer work here was also very interesting!I saw a lot of cute and lovely animals.Moreover,I played with them for a little moment.I had a good time in this place!

Finally I did volunteer work in my friend's housing estate--Wu Tia Garden.Because of the spring festival, people hanged a lot of things to decorate the housing estate,such as the lanterns.We helped people to put them down.In the spring festival people also like to let off firecrackers and fireworks.So there are some rubbish on the ground.We help people to clean them up.When we look at the place that we had cleaned,we all felt very happy!

I did the volunteer work in school's basketball championship for 4 hours,and I did in Ping an animal hospital for 3 hours,in Wu Tia Garden also for 3 hours,the total of the volunteer time are 10 hours.

Have dinner in westen restaurant "Tacos"

We have dinner at the restaurant called "Tacos" in Christmas week.

When I got to there,someone had already been there.I rode in my bicycle to there.I feel that day was very cold.However in "Tacos" it was very warm and comfortable!Because of the Christmas,it fixes up a lot of things about Christmas.The waiter and waitress are all wearing red clothes.It is very interesting!

At the beginning of my order time,I want to order a steak,but it is so expensive.It costs 180 yuan for each portion.Finally,I ordered a portion of Italy noodles with a small piece of beef and a cup of coffee.This is my whole dinner.......

I didn't take enough money,so I just ordered a little.After the dinner,we take photos.Above is my photo carrying with "Tacos" menu.(you also can see Kelly behind me, she is the testimonial of me to go with Grade 12 students^_^).

From this experience,I know more details about western food and make good relation with Grade 12 students.This dinner in "Tacos" is very meaningful!
